Divorce Mediation

In divorce mediation, the role of the mediator is to help the parties reach an agreement in an unbiased environment. This can include:

• How property will be divided between the parties.
• How custody of children and pets will be shared by the parties.
• The establishment of child support and alimony for approval by the court.

Once the couple has come to an agreement, the mediator drafts the agreement, and both parties sign and submit it for final approval by the Family Court.
